Refund Policy

At Ava & Amélie Montreal, customer satisfaction is very important to us. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return in accordance with the policy below.

Please read our return conditions carefully before submitting a return request.


1. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • Returns may only be requested after the item has been successfully delivered and received by the customer.

  • Return shipping costs are entirely the responsibility of the customer.

  • International shipping fees, customs charges, import duties, and return shipping expenses are non-refundable and must be paid by the customer.

  • Items must be returned in their original condition:

    • Unused

    • Unwashed

    • Undamaged

    • Free from odors, stains, makeup, or signs of wear

    • With all original tags and packaging included

Items may be tried on for fit and sizing purposes, but they may not be worn beyond this.

We reserve the right to refuse returns if products show signs of use, damage, alteration, or do not meet our return requirements.


2. Non-Returnable Situations

For hygiene, operational, and fraud-prevention reasons, returns may not be accepted in the following situations:

  • Products returned without prior return approval

  • Items damaged by misuse or improper handling

  • Products returned in worn or washed condition

  • Orders intentionally placed in multiple sizes or variations with the purpose of returning part of the order

  • Sale items or promotional items where stated as final sale


3. Return Process

To request a return, please follow these steps carefully:

Step 1 — Request a Return

You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order by emailing:

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Full name

  • Reason for return

  • Photos if the item arrived damaged or incorrect


Step 2 — Receive Return Instructions

Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we will provide you with the appropriate return address.

Please note that, depending on the product and supplier, returns may need to be sent to one of our international fulfillment partners.


Step 3 — Ship the Item Back

Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipment.

We strongly recommend using a shipping service that includes:

  • Track & Trace

  • Insurance (where available)

Ava & Amélie Montreal is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged return shipments.


4. Refunds

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method

  • Refunds are typically issued within 14 business days

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item arrived defective or incorrect

Please note that processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.


5. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

Include clear photos of:

  • The item received

  • The packaging

  • The shipping label

We will work with you to find an appropriate solution as quickly as possible.


6. Delivery & Address Responsibility

Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping information at checkout.

  • Ava & Amélie Montreal is not liable for packages marked as delivered to the address provided by the customer.

  • If an incorrect address was entered, customers must notify us within 24 hours of placing the order.

  • We cannot guarantee modifications once an order has entered processing.
